30. New Joints For The Merry-Go-Round

I’ve decided to have a whole week off from medical establishments before I go to my GP to start any new joints on the orthopaedic merry-go-round.

I’ve started 2 places on the merry-go-round: one, is an old favourite, in fact it’s where everything started, i.e., my left knee; and the other place is my right foot, the place where I broke 2 bones several years ago.

I went to the GP the other day and the outcome is I am now waiting for an appointment for x-rays on both places and I had a blood test done to check for several other things.

One of the things the blood tests showed was that I’m anaemic so I’m now on iron tablets apart from all the others, it’s no wonder I eat less these days as I’m so full of pills.

I’ve had my x-rays now so I’m back to waiting for the results to get to the GP for the next stage.

When I go back to my GP I’ll have a long list of things to talk about:

1        The results of my blood test.

2        The results of my x-rays.

3        All of the symptoms of my Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, in my left hand, have returned and in fact they are worse than they were before the operation as now it affects my whole hand, not just 2 fingers.

4        I have to take anti-histamine tablets each day to stop my hands irritating me.

If I were an animal, I would have been put down years ago!
